The Time I-Clic pedal also features a new carbon blade spring that replaces the traditional coil-wound steel spring. This shift saves weight over the previous RXS design. The cleats are also lighter thanks to the elimination of the brass cam which has been substituted for a composite one. The Time iClic Carbon Carboflex pedals have a carbon composite body and hollow steel axle. Claimed weight is 235 grams per pair.
