Fizik has taken its product offering beyond a rider's three 'touch points' and expanded into the next logical component - the seatpost. The Fizik Cyrano Carbon seatpost features an ovalized center extrusion to shave weight and focus strength, but that's not all. The real innovation is found in the clamp.

The clamp's lower cradle is 45 mm long while the upper part is only 13 mm, allowing for a huge range of fore and aft adjustment. Both cradles (lower & upper) are made of aluminum and can easily be adjusted to fit saddle rails up to 10.3 mm thick, making it compliant with all Fizik saddles.

Micro adjustment is handled by the aluminum dial attached to the front bolt which can be turned by your thumb quite easily. Adjustment ranges from -5 to +20 degrees. The seatpost has a setback of 15 mm if measured the standard way, though the long lower cradle enables that number to shift about 5 mm fore or aft.

Finally, each Cyrano comes with a plastic donut that stylishly marks your saddle height; a convenient feature for those who travel a lot. It also acts as a rain stopper from rain or dirt getting down your seat tube.
