With modern rollers or indoor home trainer in the house, winter can set in when it wants to. Thanks to its special cold-running compound, the Hometrainer tire doesn’t experience the heat buildup of a road tire, nor does it suffer the tread separation that the road tire is prone to under the special loads occurring when in cycling and braking on the roller’s revolving drums.

Please do not use this tire on the road. It uses a thicker, harder rubber compound, and provides very little grip on a real ride.
