Tested in the 2011 Tour de France by the AG2R team which actively contributed to its development, the Michelin Pro4 Service Course is the first of four new tires that will make up the new Michelin Pro4 range of road bike tires. Michelin Pro4 Service Course tires are designed to provide a unique combination of sports performance and long tire life.

In addition to being faster, the Michelin Pro4 Service Course is not only safer but also improves cornering speeds in the wet by an average 16% compared with its predecessor.

Its new, more pointed profile optimises the contact patch when leaning into corners for extra grip, as well as enhanced agility.

At the same time, the latest dual-compound technology its employs provides superior rigidity for the central part of the Michelin Pro4 Service Course's tread band – the part of the tire which is exposed to the biggest constraints – for even longer tire life.

Last but not least, the presence of a nylon high-density breaker beneath the Michelin Pro4's tread improves resistance to cuts and considerably reduces the risk of perforation.
